Welcome to our website! Nearly forty five years ago the first Combined Charities Christmas Card shop opened its doors in Melbourne, and thanks to the enthusiasm and energy of a willing band of volunteers it grew and prospered each year.
In 2007 it became obvious that the time had come for a change, and so in 2008 the original card shop morphed into www.charityxmascards.com.au . We learnt a lot in our first year, and hope to bring the results of that learning curve to this year’s operation.
One thing doesn’t change, and that is the purpose of the shop, wherever and however it operates. That purpose is to assist charitable agencies in raising additional funding which each and every one of them needs so desperately. So in buying your seasonal cards here you are also helping your favourite charity, which receives 90c from every $1 you spend.
It is with gratitude that we acknowledge up front all those people whose hard work and dedication over forty years built a platform from which we can take the tradition forward.
